We would like to inform you that company "Mountain River Rafting Pvt. Ltd. " went through seperation in November 2006.
A company is not just a name but people and their professional experience which stay behind the name. We feel highly responsible to inform you that from November 2006 we work under new name "WhiteWater Nepal Pvt. Ltd.".
We kindly request you not be confused as we are the same but under our new name "WhiteWater Nepal" and you can find us at the same office location.
Our official website www.raftnepal.com was registered in 1996. And as you all can see our official website has been showing our history and experience since 1992 till nowdays. As our history and experience is always with us and will be with us under whatever name we work.
Please understand that from 1st January 2007 we are not connected with name Mountain River Rafting and do not hold any responsibility for whatever action good or bad which may come under that name.
As always we are ready to do our best for your safe, fun and memorable WhiteWater trips in Nepal !

Peak UK WhiteWater Himalayan Challenge 2008, November 28 -30 (Trisuli River) - Results
Congratulations to Chandra Khadka and WhiteWater Nepal Pvt. Ltd. !!! Chandra became first in Down River Kayak Race Competition in the frame of WhiteWater Himalayan Challenge 2008!!! To add more to it: First not only among Nepalese men but overall participants!!!
Another wonderful thing: This year Nepalese girls took part for the first time in Peak UK Himalayan Challenge !!! We are very glad that Nepalese girls are entering WhiteWater World and showing good results in such a short time! Thanks to Inka and her wonderful project!

Our Arun River Expedition 2008 finished successfully!
14th May 2008: Our river expedition team returned to Katmandu. The expedition finished successfully! The Arun Eхpedition started from above Num bridge and finished in Chatara. Our whitewater team run Arun River using such water crafts: 2 Bublick, 2 Kayaks and 1 Raft.

First Annual National Rafting Championship in Nepal!
4 to 5 April 2008 First Annual Rafting Championship took place on Bhote Kosi River (Upper Bhotekoshi, Sindhupalchok, 95km.from Kathmandu). National Rafting Championship 2008 was a very professional, interesting and essential event for the whole rafting sphere of Nepal! National Rafting Championship 2008 was organized by Himalayan River Guide Association Nepal (HRGAN). "WhiteWater Nepal Pvt. Ltd." being company of professional raft guides and the member of HRGAN clearly understands importance of this National Event, we supported this event and provided possible assistance. From our side we are very thankful to the Association for positive and fruitful efforts and real actions in the field of rafting in Nepal. Arun River Expepition 2008.
"WhiteWater Nepal Pvt. Ltd." is going to run river expedittion on Arun River (Upper Gorge) in April 2008. The expedittion takes off from Kathmandu on 24th April.
Expedition paddler Vasily Porsev (one of the best russian kayakers) arrived to Kathmandu, right now Vasily is paddling on Himalayan rivers preparing for the Arun run. Soon he'll be joined by another expedition paddler and the whole Expedition Team. More news about Arun Expedition 2008 to come.

Dudh Kosi River Expedition 2007 (the Steepest Himalayan River)
This month our company together with russian sportsmen is running a river expedition on the Dudh Kosi. The aim of the expedition is to make as complete descent of Dudh Kosi River as possible finding its sourse in the Himalayas! Just now we got message from our Expedition Team that Dudh Kosi River Expedition 2007 is completed successfully!!!!! Congratulations to all our team members!!!! You did a great thing of a lifetime!!!!

Heavy monsoon influences life of western and eastern Nepal…..
This year monsoon season has brought huge troubles for Nepal. Western and eastern regions of the country have been heavily influenced by monsoon. People faced serious problems due to huge floods at those areas….. normal life was paralyzed, communication facilities cut off, hundreds of people had to leave their homes, many families lost their houses and belongings…..Our company “WhiteWater Nepal (P.) Ltd.” wanted to give at list some support for people at such a difficult life situation. In co-operation with Nepal Association of Rafting Agents we sent our raft guides with raft and equipment to help people in Janakpur area. The guides spent 10 days at flood areas, they were helping from very early morning till night providing transportation for people. Luckly, situation with floods is improving; our guides are just back to Kathmandu.
